This is an outline of the changes made by the Regulatory reform (execution of deeds and documents) Order 2005. This order will simplify the rules governing the way companies and other corporations enter into contracts, deeds and other documents.

This guidance provides factual and background information on the powers in section 100 and 101 of the Courts Act 2003 for the courts to order periodical payments for personal injury damages. These provisions came into force on 1 April 2005.

Private Law Programme - guidance for courts on parental separation and children's needs

This is a new framework for private law cases which includes guidance for courts on improving outcomes for children when their parent's relationship is breaking down. It has been proposed by the Government in response to the consultation on the green paper Parental Separation - Children's Needs and Parents' Responsibilities.
