Legal Services Market Study - quality in the legal services industry, a
scoping study.
The legal services market study is currently investigating whether consumers
have sufficient information about the quality of service and value for
money they can expect when they hire a lawyer. This scoping study identifies
the
type of research and analysis necessary to answer key questions posed
in the study's terms of reference.

Government response to CASC report on Legal Aid Asylum Appeal
This is the government's response to the Constitutional Affairs Select
Committee inquiry into new legal aid arrangements for onwards appeals. These
new arrangements will underpin the new Asylum Immigration Tribunal (AIT)
and are contained in the Community Legal Service (Asylum and Immigration
Appeals) Regulations 2005.
