Terms And Conditions Of Contract

As with most Government Departments, the Department for Constitutional Affairs has its own terms and conditions of contract.

DCA will only contract on these terms and conditions, the suppliers' terms and conditions will not be accepted.

It is important that suppliers understand the DCA terms and conditions and their responsibilities under the contract.

The Department typically uses the following types of contract:

Framework Agreement - an agreement to provide goods/services over a fixed period at pre-agreed rates, ordered as and when required;
Fixed Price Contracts - a contract with fixed prices for a pre-determined quantity of goods/services;
Local purchase orders - a simplified contract with minimal documentation for the supply of low value goods/services.
