Her Majesty's Courts Service (HMCS), an executive agency of our department, was established on 1 April 2005 and includes County, Crown and Magistrates Courts. HMCS will be developing the strategy for delivering goods and services to its buildings and we will respond by taking any new requirements to the market.
In addition, the Tribunals Service will be established over the next 5 years, which will consolidate all our existing Tribunals with certain Tribunals currently managed by other government departments. As with HMCS, the Tribunals Service may wish to review its requirements in light of the changes and may wish to establish contracts for goods and services specifically relating to its needs.
