United Nations Human Rights Committee

The United Kingdom has ratified the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) and has agreed to provide periodic reports to the United Nations Human Rights Committee covering not only the United Kingdom but also the British Overseas Territories and the Crown Dependencies. The United Kingdom is also required to publish the reports and the Committee's Concluding Observations. The Department for Constitutional Affairs is responsible for coordinating the preparation of the reports to the Human Rights Committee.
