7 September 2006 Consultation begins on draft Exemptions Order and Code of Practice for Trade Unions
18 September 2006 Closing date for responses to consultation on application form for seeking authorisation and fee scales
13 October 2006 Consultation on Exemptions Order and Code of Practice for Trade Unions ends
30 November 2006 Application form available for completion
30 November 2006 Response to consultation published
12 December 2006 Scope, Regulations, Specification of Benefits and Rules come into force
30 January 2007 Exemptions come into force
14 February 2007 Claims Management Services Tribunal established and rules come into force
23 February 2007 Consultation begins on Professional Indemnity Insurance
23 April 2007 The prohibition on providing regulated claims management services without authorisation and the relevant offences will come into force
