Guidance

These booklets contain current guidance on mental capacity issues and relate to current law in England and Wales only.

During April 2007, when the Mental Capacity Act comes in to force, these booklets will not be relevant, however new booklets will be produced.

The booklets are for:

Making decisions: helping people who have difficulty deciding for themselves

We have produced booklets on the MCA that contain introductory information on the Act for a range of audiences.
