Changes bring strong single equality and human rights body a step closer
Tougher enforcement powers and a 'state of the nation' report on equality top the list of changes in the Government's response to its proposals for a Commission for Equality and Human Rights published today. The new approaches set out in the Government's response reflect the helpful views of a very wide range of stakeholders.
