This is a new framework for private law cases which includes guidance for courts on improving outcomes for children when their parent's relationship is breaking down. It has been proposed by the Government in response to the consultation on the green paper Parental Separation - Children's Needs and Parents' Responsibilities.


A guide to international claims for family maintenance

This information is about international claims for family maintenance or child support, including a list of overseas jurisdictions where such claims can be made, and other related information and links. It is for practitioners, policy makers, voluntary organisations and the general public.
