3 Reducing crime and anti-social behaviour

As part of the wider Criminal Justice System (CJS), we continue to drive forward the reform of courts and associated processes, focusing on the needs of the law-abiding citizen. We are making sure that the courts are efficient, robust and command the respect of the public, providing confidence that the system will fight crime effectively. This chapter outlines our key achievements in these areas.
