Doing Law Differently

A paper by Lord Falconer, Secretary of State and Lord Chancellor Published 31 March 2006

'Doing Law Differently' sets out the significant legal and judicial reforms which are under way or which we have completed. It includes reforms to the office of the Lord Chancellor, setting up a Judicial Appointments Commission, a new regulatory structure for the legal professions, improvements to the justice system and a shake-up of the legal aid system. It was published on 31 March 2006.
