Public Private Partnerships and the Private Finance Initiative

Department for Constitutional Affairs Commitment to PPP/PFI

The Department for Constitutional Affairs is committed to using Public Private Partnerships and the Private Finance Initiative as a major element of our investment plans for improved court facilities and services. We have issued this brochure to encourage private sector interest in our PFI/PPP projects in Her Majesty's Courts Service and magistrates' courts, to help you understand the type and scope of these projects, and to explain what bidding for a court PPP/PFI project will involve.
