Burial and cemeteries advisory group

The burial and cemeteries advisory group (BCAG) was established in December 2001 following the report on cemeteries by the Environment, Transport and Regional Affairs Committee (Eighth Report, 21 March 2001 HC 91-1). The group was established to use the collective expertise of the industry, and to provide advice and information for burial authorities, the public, and government, including in connection with the review of burial law.
