Costs in Ancillary Relief Proceedings and Appeals in Family Proceedings

This paper seeks views on proposals to amend the Family Proceedings Rules in respect of costs in ancillary relief proceedings and appeals in all family proceedings. The proposals include the abolition of Calderbank offers, application of part 52 of the Civil Procedure Rules to all family appeals and changing the appeal route for ancillary relief cases.

The consultation period closed on 1 December 2004
