This consultation was published in July 2005 and invited comments on the proposals to merge the Local Justice Areas (LJA) of North Pembrokeshire and South Pembrokeshire to form the Pembrokeshire LJA and the De Maldwyn and Welshpool LJA s to form the Montgomeryshire LJA.

The consultation period closed on 29 August 2005. The summarised responses report outlines the conclusions reached on the options.
