Matrix Research and Consultancy have recently completed an Independent Review of the Community Legal Service on behalf of the DCA. This paper sets out for consultation the findings and recommendations of that evaluation. It seeks responses to questions asked in respect of a range of proposals made by the review team for the further development of the CLS, as set out in the final report of this work (published on the DCA's website on 28 April 2004).
