Judicial Appointments and Conduct Ombudsman (JACO)

The Ombudsman is independent of government and the judiciary. He considers complaints about the judicial appointments process from candidates who are unhappy about the way in which their application has been handled by the JAC.

He will also consider complaints from judicial office-holders or members of the public who are dissatisfied with the handling of a complaint about an office-holder's personal conduct.
