  3. Matter arising: action points from last meeting:
    • Timetable for revision of the Law Society's rule-book.
    • The DCA led programme on regulation and competition - update from Secretariat.
    • The National Occupational Standards for Legal Advice Project.

  4. Applications under Schedule 4 to the Courts and Legal Services Act 1990 - DCA procedure and standards.

  5. The Standing Conference on Legal Education (feedback from the working group's meeting on 26 April).

  6. Application by the Bar Council to amend the provisions of the Consolidated Regulations relating to "external training" (Referral No. 1/2004). Discussion of initial draft advice.

  7. Sir David Clementi's review of the legal services framework.
